I’m John Moorhouse. I’ve spent more than three decades buying, selling, and renting homes throughout North Florida — in Gainesville, across Alachua County, and in the surrounding communities. Over the years I’ve seen just about every situation a homeowner can face: inherited houses no one wants to manage, rentals that have worn a landlord out, homes that need more repairs than they’re worth, and families going through hard transitions.
I started Gator Home Solutions to give those homeowners a simpler, more honest option. Not everyone should sell to a cash buyer — but for the right situation, it can take a huge weight off your shoulders. My promise is straightforward: I’ll tell you the truth, explain your options clearly, and never pressure you into anything.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me fishing or out at the beach — this part of Florida is home, and it’s where I plan to stay.
